I often wait till the second book in this series to write a review, as I feel it is the follow-through that makes or breaks a story and DEEP WOLD BLOOD certainly is a great second instalment and feels like a continuation of the first book, DEEP WORLD FIRE. Prince Serion gets more of a centre stage from the start. His personal views and ambitions, often cloud his better judgment, though this characters flaws, combined with his strengths, is what makes him so endearing to me as he struggles with
