It's always risky going back and re-reading old favorites from high school. First, I loved the artwork and the creativity. But, the plot didn't really grip me and want me to keep reading. It reminded me a little of Twilight??? I am unsure if I will pick up the second book... but the artwork is awesome.

I caught this one on the bargain shelf at Barnes and Noble. The whole packaging just drew me in (not to mention the $6 price!).
